Once again, Taberna del Alabardero is proud to present its highly anticipated monthly wine dinner—an experience that has become a highlight for our guests. Each month, we feature a prestigious Spanish winery and craft an exclusive, thoughtfully designed menu to showcase its most iconic wines, paired with our traditional Spanish cuisine.
On this occasion, we are honored to welcome the historic Finca Torremilanos, a name synonymous with excellence, distinction, and elegance. The winery’s winemaking tradition dates back to 1903, but it was in 1975 that the Peñalba López family acquired the estate. Confident in the potential of the native Tempranillo grape and deeply knowledgeable in the art of viticulture, the family expanded their holdings to 200 hectares of estate-owned vineyards, all located in the hills surrounding the winery.
Finca Torremilanos follows a philosophy rooted in environmental respect, which has allowed all their wines to be certified organic. The combination of high-quality grapes, exceptional soil and climate, their own cooperage, and the winery’s unique conditions ensures optimal aging and wines of remarkable character.
